Thanks so much for the ping, Physicist.

and Teri, I sure hope something comes of this for you and Don. I think of you often and wonder how you're doing. You certainly didn't deserve all the lousy things that happened to you.

Please, God, let there be justice for these two.

Mare

Maybe when Lynn Swann becomes Governor he can intercede on Don and Teri's behalf.

"In the Philadelphia Inquirer today: 'Panel weighs reviving lawsuit against Rendell'"

I *love* being wrong, sometimes.
This is one of those times. ;^)

Thanks for the update, Physicist.

Jane E. Istvan, a deputy city solicitor representing Rendell and the Teamsters union in the appeal

I'm scratching my head with this... how can a Philadelphia city employee represent the Teamsters Union? It doesn't sound kosher to me.

Panel weighs reviving lawsuit against Rendell

Maybe he can be fitted with a neck stretcher ;^)

I had no idea re "no-neck's" connection(s) with PETER PAUL et al. Why do I get the impression the honorable governor is in the protection racket???

Is probabtion the normal sentence for assault in Philly? Normally this kind of assault/battery is a felony. I would expect it is in PA also.

"Maybe he can be fitted with a neck stretcher"

HA!!
You should patent that fabulous, wry sense of humor old buddy.
I *believe* a modern day "neck stretcher" has a name, though.
It's called a "Milwaukee Brace". {g}

"I had no idea re "no-neck's" connection(s) with PETER PAUL et al. Why do I get the impression the honorable governor is in the protection racket???"

Gee whiz FGS, y'think?? :o)

Think of all the dupes who applauded Bobby Kennedy's "overthrowing" of organized crime (AFL-CIO, Teamsters etc) back in the good ol' days.

In reality (& I've long suspected) what was really witnessed wasn't justice being served, it was a classic power struggle.
This time the Democrat Party of the United States of America won, effectively taking over as the undisputed head of our nation's underground crime syndicateS.
Sounds *nuts*, huh. ;^)

Whadda guy, that BobbyK.
Interestingly enough some obscure "fall guy" (who couldn't be traced in a million years?) capped 'em just as his brother bought the farm, eh?
Even more interesting is how the remaining brother kept his mouth shut ever since, also.
Funny, that. ;^)

If Rendell ever becomes too big of a liability to his "party"?
There's a place in Fort Marcy Park {sp?} reserved *just* for him.
Don't think for one instant the neckless crook isn't aware the same fate awaits any 'Rat pol who gets outa line, too.

So if you ever wondered how it is NO 'Rat ever defects, ever crosses party lines (with precious few exceptions), ever dares speak the honest-to-God truth (about anything) or why the nation's rags no longer have labor issues with their unions (like they used to)?
Wonder no more.

They're *all* in the same "corporation", have been for some time.
Quite a motivation to keep mouths zipped shut, eh.

America's Left is bigger & more powerful than most realize and the proof's in the hundreds of *unexplainable* turn-of-events we've all witnessed.

...over the past 30 years. ;^)

Istvan added that, in that same telephone call, Rendell also told Morris he wanted the crowd greeting Clinton to be "extremely peaceful and extremely positive."

Now you can add liar to his list of crimes/sins.

The lake of fire spoken of in Revelation is way too good a future for Ed Rendell and his pack of thugs.

Not entirely. Even plausible given the incestuous relationship, but a pecking order had to be established? Fact is, I put NOTHING past the Dims, such is their desire to regain control of DC. Sick bunch if you ask me.

True enough. A Dim crime syndicate would explain some of the more interesting, er, events, eh?

Thanks for the ping. Terri you and Don are not forgotten here at FreeRepublic or in my heart.
I know the battle has been long for you both.
But you,FreeRepublic and Don were all a part of a conservative patriotic revolution in America.
And the eventual crumbling demise of the lieing liberal MSM media institutions.

We were right and the scumbag was impeached.
If you don't have justice here on earth then I know you will in heaven.
I pray for it here on earth.

Thank you very much for the kind and encouraging words. It has been long, TOO long. But we are in it until the end. We are betting the First Amendment rules. The Constitution simply must win in this instance.

We, Free Republic and many people on this board have been through quite a lot since October 2, 1998, together and apart, I agree.
