Done right, a show trial can go our way.
Why is it we seem to want to shy away from disclosure?
To: joesbucks
You know, I resent the heck out of that statement. Rummy has plenty on his plate, and sitting in front of democrats for days on end while they pepper him with "gotcha" questions which are selectively edited to show on the nightly news is not "fear of disclosure."
So, are you saying that losing the House is ok? Is that your position?

I wonder what Liberal households will be devouring for breakfast on Election Day... Probably the usual plate of MSM BS rich in E Coli.

In Texas, I plan to vote straight *R* sans one Aggie Governor who publicly said, he doesn't care if I vote for him or not.

Damn straight!!! I'll be in broken glass mode on November 7, even though my GOP congresscritter is safe, just to add a vote for the Republicans.
BTW: good to see you again. I missed your recipes. ;^)

"I am not happy with the Republicans. Nevertheless, I will make sure I vote for them in this November. Think of the Dems in charge for the next two years is a nightmare scenario."
I agree. My comfort is that we were able to exert pressure to get positive actions on the Supreme Court nominee when it went screwy, and some action (though limited) on immigration. I can live with someone I sometimes disagree with if their ears are not made entirely of stone.
VOTE, VOTE, VOTE!!!
EAT, EAT, EAT!!!

Actually, the cake Marie Antoinette was talking about was the blackened burned crust cut off the bottom of the bread when it was baked. But you're right, that may be too good for the dummies!

Start working fon non-RINOs in the 08 primary. That is where we have to get rid of the ones we don't like. As unhappy as I may be with some Rs, I like the ds much less!

No, I'm not saying it's ok to win. What I am saying is if it does happen, and there seems to be a fair chance it may happen, then this is a chance to shine if their are investigations. I detect there is a general fear that won't be the case. They can come at us with all barrels and we can win with facts and results if they are on our side.
Congressional investigations are part of the territory. That time should already be budgeted or allocated. Yes, Mr. Rumsfeld is busy. But he also has many great people working for him that are executing while he is managing. He's management and oversight. Vision. And reporting.
