Well, the market has slowed down considerably here in the Washington area, as well.

You really want to change the subject, don't you?

The subject of the thread is not whether we prefer Harris's stands on the issue over Nelson's stands. We do.

But I don't think Harris is electable. I'm not alone - Jeb Bush doesn't think she's electable, and neither do many prominent Republicans in Florida.

Her response to that charge was to commit $10M of her own money, to show how serious she is about the race. She was so certain she could win, she was betting her entire inheritance.

It now appears that she has realized that she's unelectable. She won't throw good money after bad.

If Harris doesn't think her campaign is worth contributing to, why should anybody else contribute?

We do.
Good! Now lets do what we can for her.

You're not alone, but in the minority, so do what you would expect the losers do if you had won. That is throw their full support behind the winning candidate.

If Harris doesn't think her campaign is worth contributing to, why should anybody else contribute?

Did penniless Bill contribute his money to his campaigns, did and will Hillary or either Bushes?

Why should Harris give it all for you (not that she hasn't already)? She is not the fool you want her to be . Seems you can't be satisfied no matter what. Get over it and utilize the time left to support Harris. Last thing we need is unproductive crape hangers.

Did any of them promise to put $10,000,000 into their own campaign?

If not, then your comparison is, well, moot. This thread is about the broken promise, after all.

Why should Harris give it all for you (not that she hasn't already)?

Are you contending that she somehow did give the $6M, clandestinely? Or that because she's such a good public servant we shouldn't hold her accountable for following through?

I'll grant you this, though. Only a fool would have sunk $10M into the Harris campaign for Senate. Looks like she's realized that, too.

Well, so far, if I've read right, she gave 3 1/2 million so far. Again did Bill, Hillary or the Bushes spend any of their own money?

Geez, what do you say to a person who would give his right arm for the job and doesn't?

Upshot. She said she would contribute her own money, and has. You are being so nikkie pickkie, it's hard to take you seriously.

Wrong my friend. Only a fool would not.... the fool here is the GOP. If they had gotten behind her early, it would by now be a shoe in. But the GOP figured a bird in the House is worth 2 maybe birds in Congress.

But Kathy has done her time and has more than earned a raise. She will not be denied her opportunity. It's in the American tradition, group questionable survival does not trump personal rights the Constitution promotes.

Then we are agreed. The fool is Harris, who did not contribute the $10M that she promised.

Doen't it bother you when politicians break their promises? Even just a little bit?

She should probably keep it. She'll need somewhere to live come January.

I will be voting for her anyways. I do not need to see an ad from her. I cannot believe that TRUE COCSERVATIVES will stay home and allow liberals to take congress.

LOL!

If you think the difference between 3.5 and 10 is "nikkie pickkie", then I'd hate to see your tax returns....
