I was raised in the sunny south and rural Pennsylvania where families have voted for Democrats since FDR. The south wised up to the Democrats in 1972. But many voters in rural/blue collar areas in the north and midwest still think the Dems are the working man party. Which is true if he call marrying an heiress work and if call John Kerry a man.
