Didn't CNN admit in 2002 that it was allowed to broadcast from Iraq as long as it did not cross Saddam Hussein?

Possibly one of the worst examples of journalism bias in Iraq involved CNN and their ace reporter Peter Arnett. You may recall his stellar reporting of the bombed out "baby milk factory" among other fiascoes.

Things finally reached a climax with CNN and Arnett with Operation Tailwind, a completely bogus report wherein the US Army supposedly dumped sarin nerve gas on a group of US deserters in Laos in 1970.

Because of crap like that, I have blocked CNN out of the channel lineup for the past 10 years or so. And based on their latest crud, it looks like it will be another 40 to 50 years before I consider flipping to them even by accident.

I did flip over there by accident last night -- Jack Cafferty was on spewing the worst things about the President, so I flipped it off... They just get worse and worse.
