The most dangerous drivers I've seen are teenage girls.

Insurance rates reflect the statistical reality, though: young males (16-25) are by far the most prone to accident.

And 16 year olds should not be driving.

I'm glad somebody said it.

The jury isn't the one who "accepts" an insanity plea. Her attorney will ask the court for a hearing to try to show she is mentally incompetent to stand trial. If the judge buys it, there will never even be a jury paneled for this case.

Well, yeah. She didn't actually want to die. She wanted to have sex.

That's why I qualified it with the "I've seen".

The REAL moral of this thread is that there will ALWAYS be some on FR who think that everyone in American with a Spanish-sounding name is illegal and will take EVERY opportunity they can to call all Latinos "illegals." You, SIR, are ridiculous, and fuel the "conservatives are racists" fire that the dems and the media are so desperately trying to inflame!

Because, of course, there are no American citizens with Spanish-sounding names! /s

"People who don't take evil seriously and try to avoid it are living life like an animal."

That's true. And I'll go further and say it's worse than that. A human who "falls" from his human nature doesn't fall into animality. He falls into the demonic.

No animal would do what that murderer did, who executed those Amish schoolgirls. With reference to the article above, no female animal would get angry than another female animal wouldn't have sex with her, and respond by random murder/suicide.

No animal digs into its own womb to slash its own unborn kitten or pup or cub.

The extreme evil of humans serves as a paradoxical proof to me that we are indeed spiritual creatures. Because no innocent instinct-driven animal could even imagine what hell-bent evil a "fallen human" could do.

I agree with you. Worse than animals would be more correct. Anyone who commits such crimes and doesn't believe in hell will be shocked. The Vedas have some very vivid descriptions of hells (there are lots of them). Hellish punishment is not considered eternal, though - that's the main difference between Hindu theology and Christian. People are judged right after death (leaving the physical body) and view their entire lives, they see what they did wrong - then are sent to the appropriate hell. Might have more then one to go through. Generally the agents of hell remind them of their crimes/sins. Then, after a long time (measured in tens or hundreds of thousands of years), they get another chance, but often have to take the body of an animal before they get another chance at human life.

Of course, this does not agree with current Christian belief, just FYI. But no action (or even thought) goes unseen, all is recorded, and punished or rewarded accordinging. The Bhagavad Gita (and other Vedic scriptures) state though, that one who surrenders to the Supreme Lord fully, in love, is freed from all hells or temporary paradises, and goes to the Kingdom of God after death. It is also said that such a great soul is very rare, but that indeed is the purpose of life. That is the home of every soul.

I can understand the need for a psychiatric evaluation. However, the murderer should be should be behind bars while receiving it. Our courts are really becoming removed from reality!

They usually are...or in locked facility. Although wealthy kids get into psych hospitals instead of jail. Sounds like she made it to a private psych facility.

Brunstad, who was treated for an ankle injury, had told friends she planned to kill herself after another female student at Holy Innocents Episcopal School refused to have sex with her, Howard said.

You can't make this stuff up.

You know, let's make a note of this incident and shove it up the ... of the next sanctimonious homosexual advocate who says what a wonderful, fullfulling, healthy lifestyle gays practice.

This teenage dyke just killed a mother of three in frustration at not being able to perversely seduce another teenager.

NO cheers, unfortunately.

If she has any brains, damned lucky that she is in a cushy psych hospital than in jail.

I see judges remanding upper middle class high school and college aged kids to psych hospitals instead of jail. Not uncommon.

I know you're right. It is painful to think that the family who lost their mother/wife/etc may believe that it was done intentionally. As for the rest of everyone here, how many of you know for a fact that what the media is feeding you is the truth? All we know for a fact here is that this poor woman's life was ended in a tragic accident, so maybe we should all focus our energy on praying for her family, and trust that the 16 year old girl will be dealt with accordingly in response to what truly happened that night.

Louise Egan Brunstad, if convicted, she faces an automatic life sentence.

If this is a lesbian thing for her, she'll have no problems with it in PRISON!
