One time, many years ago, my sister was visiting me for a weekend and we went out to the movies with a male friend of mine. Growing up, my dad had called me 'Princess' and my sister 'Kitten'. Turns out that the guy we were with had had the nickname 'Bud'. We all got a good laugh out of that! Loved all the 50's-60's sitcoms. Jane Wyatt was a class act!

I'm with you about the fifties sit-coms. They were so much funnier than the current shows, without using sex or politics as the source of the comedy. That's why I can not even sit through one of them now. I record "I Love Lucy" every day on TVLand. No matter how many times I have seen some of the episodes, I find myself laughing out loud at the true comedy of that show and being amazed all over again at the sheer talent and brilliance of Lucille Ball.

What a remarkable life and career Jane Wyatt had! She was a beautiful and great lady. May she rest in peace and always be remembered for the positive influence she had on my life and the lives of many others of my generation.
