Did Nazi Germany use chemical wepons against our troops even though they had Sarin Gas and we didn't? Nope. If al-Qaeda gets its hands on Sarin would they bat an eye at using it on our troops? Nope.
The possibility that these cylinders were actually nitrogen for the recoil mechanisms (which was the case) apparently escaped them.
"Did Nazi Germany use chemical wepons against our troops even though they had Sarin Gas and we didn't?"
Are you on a wind up with this thread?
Tell of their compassion and restraint to six million jews who got the not so soft side of their restraint with mass murder capability. Sheesh.
Hey, Saddam DEFFO had WMD in the 1990/91 Gulf War, and if we accept intelligence reports also was clinging on to them in the 2003 War. Does him not using them make him a good guy?
I'm really not sure where you are going with your point? (I am guessing you meant somthing like "everyone knows the Nazis were evil SOBs, but these AQ guys are all that and then some")
You are supposing -- and comparing on the basis of supposition.
The Nazis used gas to exterminate massive numbers of people. They were aggressively into chemical weapons development. Hitler was gassed in WW1; some have considered the possibility that his experience affected his soldiering policies in WW2; I have no idea what the truth is on that count.
The overall atrocity level of the Germans and the Nazis, the cruelty, the barbarism, the ethnic cleansing, the sheer mass of humanity that died at German hands, so many of whom suffered a tortuously long death, puts the Nazis in a rather spectacularly singular class to date.
SS troops shot some of our pow's but islamofascists cut them to pieces alive. No matter how you slice it islamos are the most inhuman enemy to US troops. But to Jews you cant really top the Nazi for an enemy since they already used sarin on them and starved others to death.
