The KKK and the Salafist, Fundamentalist, radical, fascist Islamic movements have so little in common

- philosophical, religious and cultural foundations, the strengths and weaknesses of those foundations, dynamic and adaptive vs rigid organizational structures, comprehensive program and goals fully integrated with the philosophical foundations and with the political acumen to produce mass popularity vs a truly fringe movement -

leaving their most singularly common trait being their willingness to use violence and the threat of violence in their program.

Outside of that violence the KKK and the Islamic fascist movements are not analogous in any other sense.
