Come Celebrate Bill's 60th! But Bring Six Figures
New York Observer ^ | October 30, 2006 | John Koblin

Posted on 10/25/2006 1:46:32 AM PDT by Cincinna

So what if Bill Clinton tied New York traffic in knots just over a month ago with the Clinton Global Initiative Conference? And who really cares that his real birthday was more than two months ago?

Ready or not, he's back.

This weekend, the former President will be dining and drinking to 60 years with some of world's deepest-pocketed donors at a series of glamorous events around Manhattan, beginning Friday evening and ending with a cocktail party on Gramercy Park in the wee hours Sunday night.

“I’m on Clinton overload,” said one contributor....I’m beginning to feel used.”

Decadent, revolting, not surprising.

The perpetual 60th birthday bashes. Bill Clinton is the most disgusting individual, bar none!

Let the man have his parties. I don't think that he will have to many more. I just don't think he'll make it to his 70's.

Chelsea’s invite is heavy on policy and statistics, while Mr. McAuliffe’s tone is more emotive, writing that the weekend will celebrate all baby boomers and the two “greatest products of that generation: Bill Clinton and the legendary Rolling Stones.”

Back in the day, you were either a rolling stones fan, or a Beatles fan....I always thought the stones sucked, but could really never explain why. Could it be I was seeing the future?

I wonder if Chelse still looks like she was beatin by an ugly stick? Not to mention, it looks like she favors her mother....wearing the pants in the partnership and all...

My feelings exactly. There is something so Marie Antoinette about the way the Arkansas Grifters live.

From his physical appearence at his latest pressers (licking lips, slight shaking of head, slurring of speech), and the latest article in the Enquirer that hildebeast is sick of his screwing that blonde Canadian "bimbo"; I'd say the "bent one" is back on the hooter-caine and the hooters!

Are the Rolling Stones young enough to be baby boomers? (1946-1964) Certainly the Beatles aren't. I'm one of the oldest baby boomers and I always figured they were older than I.

I have heard that the Department of Transportation had to install a back-up beeper when Chelsea's genetics kicked in and she developed hbs (hildebeast butt syndrome)!

Good to see that the Democrats are the party of the common man.

Simply amazing. It sounds like one of those glamorous society weddings: party Friday night, brunch Saturday, Big Event Saturday night,.... I began to wonder if they would close out the weekend with everyone throwing rice and rose petals as Bill and Hill leave for "the honeymoon they never had".

The Dems cannot be happy about this. One of Clinton's earliest mistakes was the immediate flow of gliteratti through the White House. People didn't like the pretension. They'll like it even less in these more serious times.

Cue the Bill Clinton parody from Rush Limbaugh: "Because I'm richer than you are!"

Funny stuff from Shanklin.

As in,

"That's common... really common!"

Typical no-class Clintonism, once again.

Just think of all the poor children that could have been fed with all that money! Oh, I guess the "village" is in charge of that.

“I’m on Clinton overload,” said one contributor. “I’m not really wanting to do this. I’ve been tight with the Clintons for many years, but I’m beginning to feel used.”

Note to "contributor": You cannot be used if you do not let yourself be used. And now you know how the majority of the country felt while he was President: "on Clinton overload." And it just seems to get worse and worse. In the deepest part of his psyche I think Bill Clinton believes God has sent him to rule the world.
