Following received via e-mail from the Louisiana Road Captain...

I just got off the phone with Mr.John Crawford, the father of Spec. Dumas's wife, Kilyezsks Dumas. Mrs. Dumas was contacted by the CAO, after my conversation with him this morning and we have been invited to attend the service for this departed hero. Mrs. Dumas is arranging for his service at this time. Spec. Dumas will return to New Orleans area, on Thursday of this week, a private time for the family. Service will be on Saturday the 28th as of this writing. No time or location of the service has been determined by the family. They have stated they will contact me as soon as the information is available. At present I have work commitments which I am trying to re-arrange. Road Captain is required for the area as soon as information becomes available. Mike/Eagle

Patriot Guard Riders Mission Statement

The Patriot Guard Riders is a diverse amalgamation of riders from across the nation. We have one thing in common besides motorcycles. We have an unwavering respect for those who risk their very lives for America’s freedom and security. If you share this respect, please join us.

We don’t care what you ride or if you ride, what your political views are, or whether you’re a hawk or a dove. It is not a requirement that you be a veteran. It doesn't matter where you’re from or what your income is; you don’t even have to ride. The only prerequisite is Respect.

Our main mission is to attend the funeral services of fallen American heroes as invited guests of the family. Each mission we undertake has two basic objectives.

1. Show our sincere respect for our fallen heroes, their families, and their communities.

2. Shield the mourning family and friends from interruptions created by any protestor or group of protestors.

We accomplish the latter through strictly legal and non-violent means.

To those of you who are currently serving and fighting for the freedoms of others, at home and abroad, please know that we are backing you. We honor and support you with every mission we carry out, and we are praying for a safe return home for all.

My family salutes you, -- we are in the present of greatness.

To look in the eyes of those who have lost their loved ones who have given their lives for this country and thank them from the bottom of my heart is one of the greatest honors I have ever had.

God bless this family and give them comfort and peace!

“My loyalty to Country, this soldier and the family is beyond reproach. I humbly serve as a guardian to a patriot solider and family ready to defend them who defended our freedoms for us.”
