Aha, it was a TV episode? Then, perhaps that episode was based on a short story... For some reason, I'm thinking Robert Heinlein, but maybe I'm wrong. Thanks.

My advice is to actually listen to 50 real climate experts from both sides of the global warming debate.

There's a significant problem with that approach.

Well you better skip Mars then. I here it has global warming too.

It's not global on Mars.

Global warming on Mars? explains why.

faster, cheaper, better

I learned in B-school, faster, better, cheaper, pick two. You can't have all three. It's axiomatic. It's funny to hear those who present themselves as being smarter than the rest of us reveal their ignorance.

If it's faster and better, it ain't going to be cheaper.

If it's better and cheaper, it's gonna take a little more time.

If it's faster and cheaper, quality will suffer. It won't be better.

That is a lot of listening time. Would you believe twenty real climate experts? Not that anyone can predict climate all that well, but relatively speaking there are experts among us.

Algore's closing in on a size 54 long sport coat, I'd wager.

Funny, my first thought on seeing that picture was to wonder what coat size. I'm no tailor, but I guessed 54 long too. GMTA.

I agree. It might be possible to get twenty climate experts to speak for each side, depending on how broadly the term "expert" is interpreted.
