Hold your nose if you have to. But vote Republican. Then push for serious change within the party.
That is precisely how we built the party during the 70s and 80s, and it is how we will continue.
During a election, we should come together. There is plenty of time to do the other work later. There will be no chance to do it if we lose.
Tell this to the pom-pom wavers at HF. Do you honestly believe that any of these people will lift a finger to make a change in the party?
As for holding my nose, I don't think there is a clothespin big enough to eliminate the stench of this bunch of GOP turkeys. If you lived in NY State, you would understand in a heartbeat why I am so down on the GOP - the national party is headed in the same direction as the GOP losers in NY. This should not be allowed to happen.
