"When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover, Jesus went up to Jerusalem. In the Temple courts he found men selling cattle, sheep and doves and others sitting at tables exchanging money. So he made a whip out of cords and drove all from the Temple, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. To those who sold doves he said: 'Get out of here.' (John 2:13-16)
Jesus said to pray for your enemies, but he also emptied the "trash can" when necessary.
The prophet Mohammed spoke trash and murdered. His followers had better wake up, before it's too late.
I looked and the Koran 9:30 is quite different: "[9.30] And the Jews say: Uzair is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!"
Is that a different verse?
"I am reminded that people from Muslim communities are an important part of what makes America a vibrant mosaic of cultures."
Dear Ms. Hughes... We are a melting pot not a mosaic. Perhaps you have confused us with Canada.
I wanted to believe that this was a farce. Then I woke and realized that this was America.
And we have a choice between the party that is so weak-kneed as to celebrate Ramadan -- and the one so vicious as to bomb Orthodox Christians during the Paschal Vigil.
Wow.
"Why does this administration keep confusing Islam with the Amish!?!"
LOLOL!!!
Couldn't have said it better myself!
Wonder if Australia is any better? Because the kind of American I am doesn't feel like it fits here anymore.
"Foggy Bottom" is more descriptive of the State Department's mental processes, than it is of its location!
"Wonder if Australia is any better? Because the kind of American I am doesn't feel like it fits here anymore."
Not until they wake up on the subject of gun control.
Nope. Worse there, from what I understand. Right now, it would appear that the best hope for Western civilization is the good old US of A, at least according to conservatives in Britain. And the most sane places to live in the world are still probably in "red America," bad as things are there.
If you learn of anywhere better to live and survive, I'd certainly love to hear more about it...
