Action Alert! Help pass pro-life initiatives in CA, OR, SD and defeat Amendment 2 in Missouri.

November 7th is just around the corner, and your help is needed to ensure pro-life measures are passed in California, Oregon, and South Dakota. Your help is also needed to defeat the “wolf in sheep’s clothing” Amendment 2 in Missouri, which would actually protect human cloning.

Pro-life organizations are doing everything possible to help get out the vote, but with limited staff and resources their reach is limited. This is where you come in.

Your help is needed to reach the public about theses issues - more specifically, friends and family. This is a request to e-mail friends and family one of the messages below, especially those who aren’t fully on board with the pro-life message or are uninformed about these state initiatives and amendments.

Most people, as a rule, avoid talking politics with their friends and family because of the disagreements it could lead to. You are being asked to make an exception to this rule so that these measures can be passed (or voted down in the case of Missouri Amendment 2).

Please e-mail one (or all) of the sections below to friends and family who reside in these states, or who know others who do. Simply cut and paste the appropriate section into an e-mail message to them, and write a friendly note letting them know that you thought they might find these videos to be informative. Send them all of the links in the section, since the link to the sponsoring organization is included in them. (Leave the message about cutting and pasting the links, this is intended for the recipients of the links.)

Finally, for friends and family that are on board already, get them involved in the final 72 hour get out the vote (GOTV) drives. Many of these initiatives are neck and neck in the polls, and the side that gets their voters out to the polls will prevail – every vote counts!

To get involved, contact the sponsoring organizations for more information.

You and me both - my daughter is turning 10 next month and she was first in my thoughts when I cast my vote. I just hope all parents care enough to vote yes as well. I'll be watching the numbers....pray, pray, pray....

I turned in my ballot today and yes I voted for it.

To the extent that there may be a "right" to have an abortion (though I don't believe there is one), the measure doesn't infringe it at all. It simply affirms the right of parents to know when their minor children are being led by others to make this decision and become involved if they wish to do so.

The so-called judicial bypass will be a rubber stamp by an administrative law judge, and if you ask me it'll be too easy. But this is a step in the right direction and I do hope it passes!

Bump for Life!

Vote No for Amendment 2 in Missouri; it is purposely worded in a tricky manner to trick voters.
