Harold "a Jesus-loving, gun- supporting believer that families should come first, that taxes should be lower and America should be strong" Ford Jr. I guess he reads the Bible with the Bunnies. On the TV ad: FORD: No, I think it was smut. I don't think race had anything to do with that ad. I just think it was an uncalled-for, despicable, inappropriate ad for children...
Football-Loving, Girl-Loving, and Hillary-Loving...
I have no problem with these things if they are true. Of course it might depend on his application, especially the "families should come first" part might be suspect. What specifically does he mean? Define all terms.
The Dems/media have been waiting for something to come along in this campaign that they can label as "racist" and they found it in this ad...The fact it's a real stretch of the imagination to see it as actually being racist doesn't matter, it's the issue they've been waiting for.
Anyone who's a Democrat is either a Communist or too stupid to know the difference.

Tennessees highly charged U.S. Senate race has both candidates searching for votes that are still up for grabs. Three recent polls give a slight edge to Democratic Congressman Harold Ford Jr. over Republican Bob Corker though between 14 and 16 percent of likely voters say theyre still undecided.
Political analysts say to win, Ford must do more than mobilize his democratic base, he must reach out the states conservative voters, and hes trying to by talking about God, guns and his grandmother.
In part one of a two-part series, WPLNs Jacqueline Fellows looks at what it will take for Ford to replace Bill Frist in the U.S. Senate.

Corker has the endorsement of National Right to Life. And its Tennessee affiliate says both groups "strongly oppose" Ford's election to the Senate.
HOWARD DEAN famously groused that southerners vote on "guns, God, and gays." Harold Ford Jr. seems to agree. The five-term Tennessee congressman has a TV ad in which he walks among church pews. On the campaign trail, he hands out "business cards" with his name on the front and the Ten Commandments on the back. During one debate he stressed the importance of "putting God first." He recently told an audience in the West Tennessee town of Camden, "I love Jesus."
If it seems like "Harold Ford" has been in Congress for several decades, that's because Ford took over Tennessee's 9th district from his father, Harold Ford Sr., who served for 22 years.
"If you love me, keep my commandments."
