The President had a very busy Saturday attending a rally and visiting the troops, he also rang St. Louis Cardinals' owner Bill DeWitt to congratulate him on his team's five-game win over the Detroit Tigers in the 2006 World Series and also participated in a video teleconference between the White House and Baghdad, talking with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki

As is there normal practice the President and the first lady attended church on Sunday.

Today the President attended 2 rallies one in Georgia and one in Texas returning this evening to the White House.

Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld met with Mexican Navy Secretary Admiral Marco and Antonio Peyrot Turkish Minister of National Defense Vecdi Gonul at the Pentagon.

You've gotta stop worrying about the polls. Plus, quite a few I've seen have some races looking up for us. Shelley Sekula-Gibbs is running even with the dim, which is better than anyone expected for a write-in candidate. Michael Steele is tied with Cardin which is a seat the dims never thought they'd lose. NJ is a tie--another dim seat. I'm not saying everything is perfect. But the election is gonna be a lot harder for the dims than they believe.

From what I am hearing on FR and bits on FNC the tide does seem to be turning and even Dick Morris who was doom and gloom a few days ago was saying in his opinion the fete of the election is in the hands of Republicans. In his opinion if the base comes out and votes they will hold the house and the Senate.

If that is the case surely surely these people cannot be that stupid not to vote

My stomach is all ready hurting...I just don't understand why conservatives don't understand this as a chess game, you have to look 2 or 3 plays ahead, by staying home and not voting, the big picture of the war, the tools needed to fight the war, taxes, giving illegals citizenship, gad look past your own little cripe, look at what tha will do to this nation not to mention the whole world!!!!!!

The Houston TV stations and newspapers did a POOR job of covering the President's visit -- I'm hoping to find better coverage tomorrow in more local newspapers!

I forgot to mention that the President was absolutely AWESOME during his interview with Sean Hannity tonight -- the interview continues tomorrow night.

I'm going to be interested in learning tomorrow what happened during Sean's journeys with the Presdient today that prevented him (Sean) from doing his radio show -- Sean's radio show tomorrow should be VERY interesting!

I too have been awfully disappointed in the pubs and their cowering ways, but heck I'd rather have them on top than the PLASTIC BANANA ANTI-AMERICAN RAT psychos!!
