LOL! We have wound up with a couple of RINOS, that we sure as hell can't brag about.

I understand how you feel about your liberal dims. That looks like the only way you will ever get rid of them.

I have my fingers crossed that maybe we can trade ours in the next time they come up for reelection.

"..Kerry's point was that many young men and women wh.. I haven't read anything that would support that factually. It is a bedrock belief of the left that military service is not voluntary, that it is a last ditch escape from the effects of life in a capitalistic hell for racial minorities and po'rednecks. Bull. I was in during the Carter/Reagan administration. Even then in infantry units BA's and even MA's and Phd's amongst the enlisted was not uncommon. Most mid NCO's had or were working towards a BA. And that was then. Again, I said belief. Lefties exist in a world of feelings and beliefs. They project their feelings and beliefs onto others. They believe that the military is stupid. Therefor anyone in it must be stupid. What other reason could people be there for? This is because courage, patriotism, pride, tradition are unknown to them. So in a way, absent those virtues, they in a way make sense. Sick Sense.

Senator Kerry was a mediocre law student who avoided the law by entering politics.

Yes, and in view of his barely mediocre undergraduate scholastic record it is curious that he even was admitted into law school.

My son was stuck in Iraq, by choice, not by default or trying to avoid an education, or that he just wanted something to do such as being shot at in a 120 degree sandbox and no Miller Time. John Kerry, it is better to have your head in Iraq than to live like you with your head in Uranus.

I strongly suspect that if Effin' Kerry had tried to get into pilot/aviator training, NOBODY, not the Air Force, Navy, Marines, or Army would have let him get anywhere near truly high pierformance aircraft. He'd have washed out long before it got to that.
