Sen. John Kerry

KERRY APOLOGIZES TO NO ONE

2004 Dem Presidential Nominee John Kerry

Refuses To Apologize For Belittling U.S. Troops

____________________________________________

SEN. JOHN KERRY (D-MA) REFUSES TO APOLOGIZE FOR LATEST ATTACK ON U.S. TROOPS

Sen. Kerry Said He "Apologize[s] To No One":

Sen. Kerry: "Let me make it crystal clear, as crystal clear as I know how: I apologize to no one for my criticism of the President and of his broken policy." (Sen. John Kerry, Press Conference, 10/31/06)

Sen. Kerry Offers No Apologies, But Plenty Of Excuses:

Sen. Kerry: "My statement yesterday - and the White House knows this full well - was a botched joke about the President and the President's people, not about the troops." (Sen. John Kerry, Press Conference, 10/31/06)

  • Sen. Kerry: "Our own intelligence agency has told us they're creating more terrorists, not less. They're making us less safe, not more." (Sen. John Kerry, Press Conference, 10/31/06)
  • Sen. Kerry: "[N]o Democrat is going to be bullied by these people, by these kinds of attacks that have no place in American politics. It's time to set our policy correct." (Sen. John Kerry, Press Conference, 10/31/06)

FACT: SEN. JOHN KERRY (D-MA) HAS REPEATEDLY ATTACKED U.S. TROOPS AT WAR

FACT: Sen. Kerry Implied U.S. Troops Were Uneducated:

Sen. Kerry: "You know education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't you get stuck in Iraq ." (NBC 4's Website, www.nbc4.tv, Accessed 10/31/06)

FLASHBACK FACT: Sen. Kerry Said U.S. Troops Were "Terrorizing" Iraqis:

FLASHBACK: Sen. Kerry In Dec. 2005: "[T]here is no reason, Bob, that young American soldiers need to be going into the homes of Iraqis in the dead of night, terrorizing kids and children ..." (CBS' "Face The Nation," 12/4/05)

FLASHBACK FACT: Sen. Kerry Said U.S. Troops Were "Part Of The Problem":

Sen. Kerry In January 2005: "I agree with Sen. Kennedy that we have become the target and part of the problem today, if not the problem." (NBC's "Meet The Press," 1/30/05)

REPUBLICANS, THIRD PARTIES CALLED ON SEN. KERRY TO APOLOGIZE

American Legion Called On Sen. Kerry To Apologize:

American Legion: "The National Commander of The American Legion called on Sen. John Kerry to apologize for suggesting that American troops in Iraq are uneducated." (American Legion, "American Legion To Sen. Kerry: Apologize Now," Press Release, 10/31/06)

American Legion National Commander Paul A. Morin: "As a constituent of Senator Kerry's I am disappointed. As leader of The American Legion, I am outraged." (American Legion, "American Legion To Sen. Kerry: Apologize Now," Press Release, 10/31/06)

  • Morin: "A generation ago, Sen. Kerry slandered his comrades in Vietnam by saying that they were rapists and murderers. It wasn't true then and his warped view of today's heroes isn't true now." (American Legion, "American Legion To Sen. Kerry: Apologize Now," Press Release, 10/31/06)

Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) Called On Sen. Kerry To Apologize:

Sen. McCain: "[I] believe that Senator Kerry owes an apology to many thousands of Americans serving in Iraq . They answered their country's call. Because they are patriots and not because of any deficiencies in their education." (Fox News' "Fox News Live," 10/31/06)

White House Called On Sen. Kerry To Apologize:

White House Press Secretary Tony Snow: "What Senator Kerry ought to do first is apologize to the troops." (White House Press Secretary Tony Snow, Briefing, 10/31/06)

  • Snow: "The clear implication here is if you flunk out, if you don't study hard, if you don't do your homework, if you don't make an effort to be smart and you don't do well, you 'get stuck in Iraq.' ... And Senator Kerry not only owes an apology to those who are serving, but also to the families of those who have given their lives in this. This is an absolute insult." (White House Press Secretary Tony Snow, Briefing, 10/31/06)

Thank you John Kerry for undoing, 1 week before the elections, the multi million dollar 2 year effort of the Democrat Party to supress Conservative Voter turnout.

"John Kerry-the gift that keeps on giving."

That is funny, I said the exact same thing to my husband just 5 minutes before I came on here! LOL Kerry is still being a sore loserman from the '04 election. What a long faced baby.

When are we going to finally see a copy of John F'n Kerry's (who by the way served in Viet Nam) Bad Conduct Discharge?

Let's not forget Kerry's biggest troop slandering moment, said before congress, while his "brothers in arms" were out there dying in the battlezone.

A classic case of backpedaling if there ever was one.

The Junior Senator from Mass. is a buffoon.

I don't know if anyone paid much attention to the fact that he made these statements in California and Seattle. This idiot has enough common sense not to come down south and say this.

Sorry, Johnny, but you called the troops uneducated, and everyone knows it. And it will be remembered, at least by some, come election day.

Look up "rectum" in the dictionary and I'm sure you'll find Mr. Kerry's picture next to the definition.

Too bad one of those self-inflicted wounds you spent four months collecting (after receiving five draft deferments and then voluntgerring for service that you hoped would keep you out of real combat forever, before you turned traitor and avoided the court-martial and conviction that you so richly deserved, but were saved from by that other naval-officer-turned-traitor, Jimmy Carter) didn't turn gangrenous and spare us your absurdity.

No apologies! You go John! You tell it like it is. I want you to repeat this message as often as you can and I want the msm to broadcast every word.

Just remember John, it is exactly like Viet Nam! We're all on your side man. Call Jane Fonda and get her up there with you. No more apologies!

Rep. Duncan Hunter on Fox News this afternoon after Kerry declined to apologize told the story that his son who graduated from college and had a good job was running sprints one day up a hill. He asked him what gives, and his son said he had joined the Marines to go serve. The bottom line: its our best and brightest who are in Iraq, its not some dumping ground. (Rep. btw has announced he is running for President in '08.)

Brit Hume this afternoon also made the point that Kerry twice voted to send troops to Iraq. But that was left out of Kerry's comments to the school kids.

You are so right, let him rant.
He just mkes the Right look so good.
He will never see the day to be President of this great country.
Now he has the Swift Boat vets really angry, just wait for the fallout.
It's coming, may be next month, may be next year.
Swift Boat vets don't forget.

Cindy Sheehan's son was a flunk-out, so he volunteered for the military and even went back to Iraq for a second tour of duty (which he wouldn't have done had he made better grades in math).

So if he was a flunk-out, does that make her a flunkee?

/sarcasm
