It wasn't an accidental revelation. It's how he and those around him and those who voted for him, for the most part, think. He just forgot to remember that actual Americans would also see and hear what he said.
The "revised" comments reveal that he also thinks the rest of us are as ignorant as he thinks those "stuck in Iraq" are. It is so lame as to be laughable. No one, not even those who are covering for him in the treasonous press, believes it.
He has no choice but to "revise" the revision. Should be fun to watch.

Yes, Kerry's "botched joke" is what is called a Freudian slip. If Kerry had studied hard and done his homework, he'd know what that was.
