If it was a minor I would make him wear a sign saying I do not even deserve to lick this mans boots as he cleans the statue.
If it was an adult, I say make him wear the unshined boot where the sun doesn't shine. :)
What this perp needs to do is write an essay and EXPLAIN in detail in front of the whole town why he thought it would be a good idea to vandalize this statue.
