John Kerry, pomposity, idiocy
Well, we all knew it couldn't last too long. What were the real chances that John Kerry could keep his trap shut long enough for the new Democrats to seize Congress, the Presidency, the high ground, and finally gain the enduring friendship of the world's terrorists without a fuss.
But it was not to be.
This tall, early Hallowe'en garbed, gaunt, brooding, visage, in an airy jocose liberal attempt to curry favor with the far left Angelides crowd at Pasadena City College, Monday, had to let fly with another patented searing stab at the intelligence of today's highly skilled all-volunteer military, who are laying their lives on the line in this bloody month of October in Iraq. He had to because he can't stop himself from continually humiliating our men at arms at every chance.
""If you don't (study hard) you get stuck in Iraq," the one time presidential contender and habitual mini-cam chasing occasional Boston politico intoned imperiously before the assembled coeds and their gracious tittering, little knowing that these cheap cheesy remarks directly directed at the aptitude of our troops might redound to his detriment.
Now remember Mr. John "Live Shot" Kerry's vaunted past; liberal scion, private school boy, Yale man of measured merriment, rich liberal wives, vanity license plate, large convoy of SUV's, charter member of the VVAW and the Winter Soldiers, DD-214 resting in secrecy, pardoned by Jimmy Carter, left wing darling, who steers clear of the very people he claims to care so much about.

He's half Ted Kennedy, half Jimmy Carter. What a piece of &$*#!
Our local news interviewed some family members of troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan....including one woman who lost a son in Iraq. These are not happy campers, to say the least, and I don't blame them. I don't care how he and his handlers spin it, he insulted every one serving over there and their families and loved ones...and he may well have put our troops in harm's way.
Boy am I glad he's not President!
He nailed Kerry perfectly and said everything I've always thought but could never express as well as he does.
I 'm archiving this in my Firefox "scrapbook" (love that add-on).
Our Military Men and Women are not expendable. John Kerry is expendable. If kerry had the decency of a Richard Nixon, or a Tom Delay, he would resign, but kerry doesn't have the decency of a Richard Nixon or a Tom Delay.
He's a great writer. One of my favs.
John Kerry drinks toilet water.
I ran across a re-run on a cable channel last night and it really hit home.
Even money he won't get to speak at the 2008 DNV..
Listening to the speech today and remembering hearing it yesterday, they ADDED canned laughter today.
Yeah, that makes perfect sense. Sort of like when they edited out the booing for Hillary.
THE PLATOON MENTALITY. They still think there is a draft and only the underprivileged get invited to serve. They still think that poor kids from the Ghetto doing the fighting for big oil and business. Kerry was serious, he believes the people in the military are only there as a last resort for opportunity.
I was at a Neil Young concert several years ago. In between songs Neil was jabbering about not trusting Government and he said (something like) NIXON CAN'T BE TRUSTED (in the present tense). Well, there was a huge pause in the crowd. People couldn't even believe what he said. Someone yelled out (10,000 people) NIXON IS DEADER THAN DISCO! , Everyone laughed.
But that is where they are mentally. Like Rush says they are trying to relive their glory days of the 60's. These people’s points are so irrelevant it makes it apparent they are very sick.
I NEED TO READ LIBERILISIM IS A MENTAL DISORDER, Mike Savage. I bet he can make a case that would win in court.
They are truly sick.
Kerry is still stuck in the stereotypes of the Vietnam era. Educational levels in the military were lower, still in Kerry's mind, but "education" didn't keep you out of Vietnam. Deferrments ended, as Kerry should know. He was a college grad, and though it's rarely mentioned he was in Vietnam.
bttt
He doesn't even have the decency of a Mark Foley, who resigned the minute his misdeeds came to light - and I can't believe I just wrote that.
I thought so, too! I saw the clip the night he said it, and there were a couple of odd giggles, but no laughter at all.
