He apologized for the fact that the populace is too stupid to comprehend his highbrow, Brahman humor.

Burns should now demand that Tester send back the Kerry cash.

Now it is Cardin , Ford and Tester, ALL in the tightest races, are calling on Kerry to apologize. They are covering their own worthless butts.

what the republicans need to be careful of here is that these Dem candidates who are criticizing Kerry - don't use this as a way to make themselves appear more "moderate", by taking on Kerry.

republicans need to make the point - electing Dems like Tester/Ford/McCaskill/Webb, will simply empower the real controlling apparatus of the Dem party - the Clinton/Kerry/Reid crowd.

Dems like Tester et al will simply be back benchers who will do as they are told. that's an important point to make.

I think Tester is in trouble. I'm cynical of liberals to begin with but I've noticed that it's Tester, Ford and Cardin asking for apologies. All in states the polls have the liberals ahead. I hope that the President and Burns knock home the point that if you don't want Kerry, or Kennedy or Durbin or Reid in control of the senate vote for Burns.

Do you hear that loud cracking sound? It's the Democrat party splitting in two less than a week before the election...

Yeah, they've had a couple of days to look over their internal polls. Instead of calling for an apology immediately they're doing so only when they find it polically necessary to do so.
