They reported the same thing on the radio station that I am listening to. Kerry did NOT apologize, he simply stated that he had apologized, he said that he had said that his statement was a botched joke, but he really never said, I'm sorry. The guy can't do it.
So he apparently tried to let the troops know he was apologizing without apologizing? KFI called it an apology.
