He should write that apology on the back of his 180 form.

Subject: How do you spell Kerry?
Our troops in Iraq are sending John Kerry a message. Please enjoy this photo taken today by our brave soldiers in Iraq! Feel free to email this your friends and family.

First he insulted the troop's intelligence.
Now, he's insulting ours.

I wonder how much that pic of the troops with the banner had to do with Kerry's latest insulting attempt at damage control...?

So apparently it is the fault of the American public, news media and the men and women of the United States Military for not being smart enough to understand what Senator Kerry meant to say?BWAHAHAHA----exactly what I thought when I first heard the non-apology.

The problem about demanding an apology is, what do you do after you get one?
Which is why you never heavily pressure for an apology.

Meanwhile maybe we should have a running list of the Beltway commentators that seem to have no problem with endorsing Kerry's view that we're all idiots that will gulp up an insulting nonapology apology.
From NRO...
Kerry's Apology [Jonah Goldberg]
Good for him. I doubt it helps him in his (doomed) bid for the White House, but besides from being the right thing to do, it probably helps the Dems. My guess is he still won't be invited by a lot of candidates in the next week.
The non-kos apology [Rich Lowry]
It's what Kerry should have said from the beginning, if he hadn't been trying to apply the wrong-headed "always attack your detractors venomously" lesson of 2004.
Re: Kerry's Apology [John Podhoretz]
A handsome piece of work. My congratulations to Bob Shrum.

Kerry's Apology [Ramesh Ponnuru]
That's about as good as we could expect. This story is done as far as I'm concerned.
These men have all proven that kerry's condesecending view of the intelligence of the American can be validated...if one looks to the corridors of the political belt.

John Kerry: "I'm not going to apologize, you see, because I couldn't control myself when I said those things about our military. Karl Rove is forcing me to say those things! I just can't help myself! He's been sending those thoughts into my brain, and there's nothing I can do to stop him. He's got some kind of a machine, or something."

I just showed my 11 year-old son the original clip of Kerry's "you get stuck in Iraq" insult.
He said, "well that explains Forrest Gump, but it's really mean."
I know I'm a proud mom, but I think my 11 year-old son has more brains than John Kerry!
