No need to apologize. Your ping have been great and informative.

I don't know whether the GOP has been stunned or is mortally wounded.

At this point, I say to the Dems: "F*ck you - you've bitched for six years (literally since 01/20/2001 they've wanted to impeach GWB) - let's see what you do!"

I hope that the remaining Republicans use their frigging spines and mount a scortched earth policy for the next Congress. Fillibuster the time of day if need be.

Let's face it: you can't win a war with one hand tied around your balls. These Dems are ruthless and MUST be destroyed. How can we defeat the Islamofascists if we can't keep the Dems/MSM in line?

With Rush's announcement today, we have an opportunity to remake our party into one that WILL WIN. I also propose identifying contenders for 2008 now. Others have posted that Duncan Hunter is a no-nonsense type of leader who would put the MSM in its place. Great - sign me up!

Nothing to be sorry for. I am still convinced that there were major sheninagans in Va., Pa., Mo. and MT but I never blame the ref, It shouldn't have been close. It's the price we paid for nation building, reckless spending, and not doing anything about immigration. We were not conservative enough to win. Few saw that coming. I am still stunned.
