In a report published in a medical journal this month, the doctors described a six-year-old girl with profound, irreversible developmental disability who was given high doses of estrogen to permanently halt her growth so that her parents could continue to care for her at home.

This is a double horror to us personally as it echoes the crafts of the Nazis.

In our case, our son remained naturally small as severely handicapped children usually do. We credited this as a Grace from God as a way of alleviating the physical burden just a bit, but to actually seek such a palliative defies comprehension.

Too much estrogen is a carcinogen. They keep the child small and then, she is at greater risk for cancer. The bioethickers have it all figured out, well, except for about being humane and kind.

Today, George Not Feelin' It does an opinion piece in the Tampa Tribune opposing Charlie Crist. It's a good read because it's been a long time since we've read anything from that warped mind.

Regarding Mikey, he's not supporting Skip Campbell for Fl AG or probably not the GOP's McCollum. He won't be able to complain if he doesn't vote for FL AG, not that it ever does any good around here...

Let's not forget that as Florida's Attorney General, Charlie Crist violated his oath of office. I am going to vote for Bill McCollum even though his front people didn't even know what a Terri Schiavo was back in 2004. McCollum has flip flopped on Terri too. He bragged once that he woulda stayed out of "it" too.

Maybe as Fl AG, McCollum will answer the phone instead of referring people to Jeb's phone number who bounced calls back to Charlie Crist where they said "we don't have a civil rights dept."

I cannot vote for anybody who is inept and beholding to big money. Capitalism is great but it should not shield criminals. Crist was a lousy AG to put it mildly.
