Kennedy Offered to Help Soviets Thwart U.S. Policies, KGB Papers Show

(CNSNews.com) - While Soviet troops occupied Afghanistan in 1980, Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-Mass.) worked in close concert with high level Kremlin officials to alter the direction of U.S. policy, according to documents made available through a KGB defector.

Details concerning Kennedy's correspondence with KGB agents are included in the writings of the late Vasiliy Mitrokhin who defected to Britain in 1992. The Mitrokhin papers highlight a meeting that took place at the behest of Kennedy between former Sen. John Tunney (D-Calif.) and KGB agents in Moscow on March 5, 1980.

You'd need an inch thick steel cable and a dozer for this traitor.

Are we being manipulated by selective use of the facts?

Probably - but what does that have to do with giving Kennedy a pass. Put it into a few sentences. Why the pass....

I remember how closely the late "Moscow Mary" McCrory followed Ted's bid for the Democrat Party nomination for POTUS back in 1980. She actually thought that Kennedy had some sort of chance. Now we hear that Ted has been much more of a traitor to his own country than even I thought he was. I am plainly shocked, and amazed. What next? Will we find out that Bill Clinton sold nuclear secrets to the Chinese in exchange for campaign cash? Oh yeah, we already know that.

Frankly, I think ol' Ted has got some splainin ta do.

Sen. You write: "I have not heard a word of this even on Fox"
there is a formula =
if they hear from 40 to 45 people on a story, they will cover it. CAUTION: do not mass email - they won’t look at it – email singly. I've added e.d. hills new email add. - she's afraid of no one and now has her own show... "Let's roll"

In addition to treason,I believe U. S. law prohibits a member of Congress personally to negotiate with a foreign government in such a manner. However, this would not be the only law that does not apply to left wingers.
It also was illegal for Jimmy, the Inept, to negotiate on his personal initiative an agreement with the dictator of North Korea. That agreement should have been ignored by Clinton, but possibly he was distracted by that blue dress.

Piano wire is stronger than you think......

But no, must be executed properly after a proper trial.
Lethal injection would do just fine.

Actually, you just posted one of the biggest reasons I am disgusted with the Republicans in Congress. They NEVER go after the Dems for ANY breach of law or damage to this country. After all, We is one of Us or something to that effect.
