I'm glad they were found ok. I wonder about carbon monoxide . This happened last year to another couple. Getting disoriented isn't just an old person's disease though. I know someone that was going to Houston. Her husband went to sleep and she didn't make a turn and they ended up in San Antonio. Last I heard she hadn't recovered yet either:')

It can happen, especially at night. I was returning to Killeen, from the Texas Cowboy Memorial Shoot in Houston and similarly missed a turn (at Milano) I was almost to Round Rock when I figured out that something had gone wrong. I didn't recognize the town I was in (Taylor when I should have been up around Cameron heading towards Temple) and then stopped to regroup, look at a map and figure out how to get home. Of course I could have just gone on into Round Rock, and then gone home from there. Might have been quicker than the FM roads I actually took.
