What a sweet picture, Mo. One of the things (among many) that I'll never forgive our liberal media for is that they so rarely publish pictures like this.

Great pic, an obvious attempt to terrorize the Iraqis....
/sarcasm
Phil has shown me a few like that from his tour.
Our media will never print pics like this for the general news consuption in America, like they wouldn't print the humorous Jon Carry sign from the Guardsmen over there.
I hope we get a chance in our lifetime to shame the cabal of our so called "media reporters". In the meantime, shame on them.

I have this idiot liberal colleague, of a sort, who likes to try and engage me in political argument. One day he says to me something like, "How can you support Bush with what's going on in Iraq? Don't you watch the news?" I told him that they're not telling the whole story. He said, "No, it's much worse."
You'd think he'd actually been there (he hasn't). He refused to hear that anything good could possibly come out of the war. But then, that's part of the liberal pathos. They refuse to believe anything that doesn't fit in with their anti-American, anti-God agenda.

Kids just love GIs, always have. A U.S. soldier plays with displaced Iraqi children from Falluja on the outskirts of the war-torn town, 50 km (30 miles) west of Baghdad, December 15, 2004. Photo credit: Shamil Zhumatov
A loving kiss for an Iraqi baby before a possible attack against this young child's town, Falluja. A Marine of the 1st Division kisses a local child before he joins a foot patrol outside Fallujah, Iraq Saturday, Oct. 30, 2004. US forces are preparing for a possible attack on the rebel stronghold of Fallujah. Photo credit: Anja Niedringhaus

The little girl on the left is named Hana, 8, from Altun Kupri, Iraq, and she is helping her friend, Pfc. Jon Raiford carry the load of an extension cord reel during the closure of Raiford's facility in the town. Hana's older sister, Sarah, can be seen at the rear of the truck held by a US soldier and waving good bye to other soldiers from the unit. Both girls lived near the compund and learned English from the soldiers, but more important, became their friends. Photo credit: Spc. Sean Kimmons, 25th ID, and presented by the US 1st Division.

I hear that all the time. I dutifully listen to the rant for a minute.
Then I get to tell them my son was there for a year driving a humvee on patrols and guarding the PM, and that he actually experienced the full reality there......
Shuts em up every time.
It is soooo frustrating to read what the MSM thinks is news from there. It is nothing more than calculated, calibrated Democrat talking points.
Very sick. It will be hard to win this with most of our "reporters" seeing through a basically anti American prism.

"It will be hard to win this with most of our "reporters" seeing through a basically anti American prism." Sadly, you're right. The only thing that would likely shut up those who want us to lose is a few no nonsense trials for treason....ending in execution of the traitors. I think that may have some others reevaluating their loyalties. I don't look for it in this lifetime.

Sadly, I think you're right. The mushiness and lack of understanding is amazingly widespread accross this great land.
In the face of this.......we won't forget, we won't give up. To do so would let the mush heads win.
