Something is broken with the KS justice system. It was a "clerical error" that resulted in one of those pieces of excrement getting released from prison early that led to the "Wichita massacre" carjack/rape/murders of Dec. 2000. Now another innocent young person is dead because someone who should have been behind bars or executed was free to committ more mayhem.
As long as a piece subhuman filth like this is allowed to continue living, it can get out and do its thing all over again. Nobody should be fooled by "life without parole" sentences.
The other thing about the death penalty a lot of people don't realize is that, even when it's not executed, it at least keeps the subject in prison endlessly appealing instead of giving him a shot at getting out to murder somebody else.
