(Unfortunately, in this instance) an automatic appeal is mandated on the occasion of a death sentence. Never mind the on-going trials. My personal over-under call is 3 years from the initial verdict.
3 years? I doubt so. 3 months maybe. The sentence will be carried out during a) Bushs term , b) Malikis term.
If Saddam gets to wait 3 years before his hanging...can we at least make him wait in the HOLE we found him in??
