He submitted papers to judge demanding sentence be delayed for 60 days. Judge told him his whole submission was an insult to the court and he was insulting the Iraqi people. When he was thrown out the Iraqis in the chamber and press gallery all began jeering him on the way out & cheering and the Judge had to tell them to stop.

LOL!
The reason I posted this little tidbit of news about Clark is that I did not want it to be lost in all the postings about Saddam's death sentence!

Clark had handed the judge a letter in which Clark called the trial a travesty. The judge looked at it, looked at Clark, and told him in English "Get out!"

Thanks. I saw in a later-posted article that he also told the judge that the trial was illegal. I'm not surprised he was thrown out.
This is a good day for the Iraqi people: when Saddam is finally out of their lives for good (i.e., dead), they can more strongly commit to their new government without fear of him coming back and destroying them.

The MSM is going to want to suppress the news about the verdict and about Ramsey Clark. It would "interfere" to much with the Election.
Poor Democrats and their cohorts in the mainstream press. They can't celebrate.

Maybe Ramsey Clark, in a show of solidarity, will commit suicide on the day saddam hangs. It could be his last, best protest... Never mind. Just daydreaming.

Speaking about hanging won't saddam crap his pants when they stretch his neck? Is that the reason he wanted a firing squad?
To: Las Vegas Dave
Ramsey thought he was going to jerk that Judge around and he booted him right out of the court room. I would have loved to have seen the look on Ramsey's face. LOL

I assumed it was Clark that didn't want to be lost amid all the media coverage.
Pulling this stunt, that is. Not your posting.

Breaking:
It was just announced by the lead prosecutor in the Saddam trial during the post verdict news conference that legal proceedings against Ramsey Clark for disrupting the court and insulting the judge are being considered.
