Father, I pray for leaders that love the Lord. Please let goodness triumph tomorrow. Let there be no question or doubt. I ask you to touch the hearts of the ones who have lost hope and are considering not voting . Show them that all things are possible with You. Your will be done. In Christ's name, Amen.
Been praying for the US for a very long time...
Father God, we thank you for putting us in situations where we can trust You and You alone. I thank you for you son Jesus who paid the ultimate penalty on the cross so we could have eternal life. We are your children and we pray today You will intercede in this election and let us "stand in the gap" for this country. The spiritual warfare during this election has been astronomical but You are ultimately in control. We know that weather affects elections and You are ultimately control the weather. We put our trust in You today that Your will be done. In Jesus Christ' Name. Amen.

I've been in prayer all this week for eyes to see and ears to hear what will happen to this Country if these Liberals get control of this Country.

Lord, please give us the victory tomorrow. Be with our fine men and women who are willing to serve this great country in the political arena. Lord, give them strength and encouragement in the face of their enemies. Continue to be with President Bush. Without You, he could never have been as strong and good as he is. Thank You for Your guidence and for Your love of all mankind. In Jesus name. Amen

I have participated in elections before but are we at a cross road with this one? I ask that you bless America today with Christian leaders that can work with this President for your will. In Christ's name, Amen.
Lord, thank you so much for giving us the strength and endurance to make it this far. Lord, lift up our candidates and refresh and renew their spirits today. Relieve their anxiety and allow them to enjoy the day with their supporters as they work until the polls close to GOTV. Continue to prepare those who you've determined will become our leaders, new and "once again".
Lord, I just want to lift up our nation. There is so much division and strife and anger. I pray that you will surround our country with your loving arms and grant us a peaceful voting day. I ask that those who know you are comforted by your love and grace and those who don't are drawn closer to you. I also ask that you thwart the spirits of depression and anger and angst inside people's hearts. Lord, I pray specifically for my state because there is so much division over the anti-affirmative action proposal and I ask that your will be done in this specific area. I ask that you thwart the spirit of cynicism and anger and racism today and in the future.
Lord, stir our hearts to vote for Godly candidates. Candidates that know and love you. Stir our hearts to conduct ourselves professionally if we are working at the polls, outside handing out lit, or inside as a poll watcher or poll challenger. Let nonbelievers see who you really are through our love, professionalism, and peace. Also, move in those people who are disillusioned in our political process - including me - to get out and vote, to make their voices heard, to work hard for our candidates.
Lord, there are so many opportunities for blessing today. I ask that your love and grace pour down on people like rain. Forgive us for our anger towards our opponents in not viewing the world as we do. Father, they are creations and reflections of you as we are. I ask that you bless them and show them your love, your grace in a way that they would respond to. Lord, you tell us to pray for our "enemies", so that is what I am doing. I pray that they see the light and realize that they are the enemies of true freedom. The freedom that comes from knowing Christ. The freedom that comes from toppling over freedom-hating regimes. Lord, I pray for GWB and the administration today. In the Holy and sacred name of Jesus. Amen.
Lord, as the polls open today in yet another important election, I pray that people will recall the many examples given in the Bible about the benefits of giving You reverence and trusting completely, only in You and none other.
Lord, I confess my own failure to better appreciate this Nation called The United States of America and my own sins. I confess that I am forgiven of these and You will use even my failings to glorify Yourself and to prove that 'all things work together for good to them that love You and are called according to Your purpose.'
Thank you, Lord, for the privilege of being born here in America. Lord, let others see what has been accomplished in "One Nation, Under God" and go out and do likewise elsewhere. Let them not be filled with covetousness and envy but rather a healthy sense of purpose and encouragement and 'co-opetition' whereby we could live nation with nation, side by side, without unrest.
Lord, let there be many eyes, ears and hearts opened to the lies told about 'racism' which lies deny You and devalues the entire human race. Lord, let many know that there is ONE race--the human race, created by You and that the paint job doesn't matter, what matters is what's in the character and what we do with what we have. Let every human realize he or she is 'fearfully and wonderfully made' in Your image.
Lord, in Proverbs we are told an untrustworthy messenger is like trying to run on a broken foot. Let people not be deceived, nor support untrustworthy messengers masquerading as news media--and let us discern well who among them are trustworthy, for indeed some are worthy of our trust. Let us not permit those who scorn this Nation's own 'huddled masses,' her People who huddle at newsstands craving truth to be made merchandise of.
Let this People look with wise eyes and see the graffiti, the robberies, the thefts and the other crimes and know that some speak of punishing crime but seek to reward it. Let this People discern, and let us remove from power those unfaithful persons.
Let us return to the Ten Commandments.
Let us return to absolute truth and not reward those who lie and cheat and steal.
Be swift, Lord to judge and punish evildoers that escape human justice--but meanwhile let us be faithful to fearlessly and tirelessly strive to protect the innocent and the weak from oppressors. "Vengeance is Mine, saith the LORD.'
