Just food for thought. When I ponder the situation from this perspective, it makes me think I would be VERY afraid to be a Democrat right, now VERY AFRAID! Also, it makes me grin from EAR TO EAR!

Look, we haven't won yet, so let's cool the victory speeches and wait for tomorrow.

And why haven't I seen Rove on tv today? You'd think they would give him airtime. Who wants to see Chris Matthews and the like all the time?

How can we both be 1998 vintage FReepers, and yet I can't recall ever seeing you post -- even though you do, often? I'd bet that goes both ways. Amazing place, FR....

DESTROYING these people in the political arena is what he has been eating, sleeping, and dreaming about No need to put it as a revenge motive. This is what Master Rove does. It is his reason for being.

FReepers need to get pollwatching credentials (from any area GOP campaign), move around on Election Day from poll to poll, have cell phone in hand with the phone number of your STATE BOARD OF ELECTIONS number already programmed in, digital still or video camera if possible to videotape the "perps". This will help stem the tide of fraudulent electioneering, etc. at the polls. I do this every two years, and have successfully chased DEM Chicago machine operatives out of the northern Cook County area when I caught them red-handed, handing out campaign literature to shuttle buses of old people being dropped off at the polls from their assisted living residences.
JUST DO IT PEOPLE!

Sweet Jesus people, it is nice things are turning around and the Republicans have some momentum, but lets not forget the hole we had to climb out of in the first place. All this momentum may result in only a small loss rather than a big loss, but a loss nonetheless. I am not trying to depress anyone or be a nay sayer. I just think we should stop dancing in the end zone when the ball is on our own 49 Yard Line and there is under two minutes left in the game.
Get out and vote, volunteer for the GOTV efforts. Sacrafice an animal if that is your thing, just do something.

It is a travesty what Scooter Libby has had to go through. Bush should close down the prosecutor's office.

I think it's more of a case of -
John Kerry's "botch" + Saddam's verdict + AlQaida endorsing the Demoncrats = The Republican's holding on to a majority in both houses. Just my impression.
