That would be great - Jeb would be an excellent president. Unfortunately, the Bush hatred is at such shrieking levels, that it would be torture for him and his family if he decided to run for president. I do hope he takes a couple of years off and perhaps run for the U.S. Senate in 2008 - maybe he could knock off the odious Bill Nelson.

I saw another (later) thread on this and am surprised only a couple seem to have realized what Rove did here - seriously, do you believe he'd be out talking to press the way he did (frankly appeared he might even start laughing) and that Jeb wouldn't have appeared otherwise. Rove just USED the press like a dirty beach blanket, getting them to deliver the last minute message to Florida swing voters that Crist is independent.

Harris got my vote but Crist didn't.
I still have to go vote..Crist is someone I REAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLY DO NOT LIKE. I did not want him as the Gov. choice but I just can't give the office to a Dem. So I will hold my nose and vote for the bastard.
