What yahoos predicted a 7.5% turn-out and on what set of facts? This should require a detailed explanation by the person who made the decision - I will surmise that he or she is a Democrat.

Anyone know the zip code for that area? I think 1 888dem-vote needs to be alerted to this. Maybe they can speed some ballots over to that heavily republican area fast.
it's New Mexico... i'm sorry to any NM Freepers... but my family is from there... and i still have lots of family who live there... i've heard many sleezy, slimey backroom, political stories... i even have a cousin who admits to paying off a judge to get a light sentence when he shot a man for staring at his wife... no lie... (btw--he served no time)...
