'DIRTY TRICKS' IN JERSEY?
MSNBC ^ | 11/07/06 | Ron Allen

Posted on 11/07/2006 11:23:14 AM PST by conservative in nyc

In New Jersey's senatorial campaign, Republican candidate Tom Kean Jr.'s aides are charging that opponents "already have resorted to Election Day dirty tricks."

Last night, vandals chained shut the Kean campaign's headquarters in Mountainside, N.J., and broke keys off in the door locks to prevent entry, according to aides. "It's Jersey ... this is not surprising," Kean spokeswoman Jill Hazelbaker told us. "It's the Menendez campaign, or their supporters," she added, but without offering evidence.

"It's just a lot of noise," was the response from campaign aides for Democratic incumbent Bob Menendez. They say they have "thousands" of lawyers at polling places across the site, especially where they expect problems - such as Essex and Hudson County, two big urban Democratic areas.

Menendez's folks are checking out a report of electronic voting problems in Essex County, where voting machines are reportedly defaulting to certain candidates rather than voters' choices.

She’s freaking Columbo and figured it out all by herself.

I offer no evidence that the reporter is an asswipe, but you know he is.

If she had surveillance video that clearly showed Menendez and his campaign chief were the ones that did the vandalism, the reporter would complain that they were violating his right to privacy.

I heard on FOX News Radio that voters are complaining that when they step into the booth the electronic voting machine has Menendez already lit up.

No. Al Gore has established the principle that it isn't over even after the people have spoken. He failed to show the class that Nixon did in 1960 and has thrown the legitimacy of all of our institutions into doubt. That is the legacy of Gore.

When Dems do it, it's "dirty tricks."

If Republicans are accused of it, it's "disenfranchisement, intimidation and fraud."

That's easy . . .

1. Earn a lot of money.

2. Save a lot of money.

3. Invest said money elsewhere.

4. Move.

'Amish' threats close some Mercer County schools

11/7/2006, 1:46 p.m. ET

The Associated Press

EAST WINDSOR, N.J. (AP) — Some Mercer County schools canceled classes on Election Day after authorities, who received letters threatening violence like the recent Amish school killings, worried that with voters coming on campus to cast ballots they couldn't guarantee security....

The morning Christie Whitman was on WABC radio complaining that this republican administration has spent too much money so it's time for a change.

She's still bitter that Dubay was re-elected and hoping for a dem win today.

What a backstabber.

So she's pretending that the repubs spend too much and the dems will cut spending????????????

There was a Kean staffer inside. He noticed the chains on the door at 4:45 am, and called police because he was locked inside.

If there was a fire, he would have been in a life threatening situation.

When another company came to their doors in the same building and noticed the keys broken off in the doors, THEY called the police.

Then the police came out and cut the chains.

3 hours later!

That's NJ for you!
