TAMPA - Tampa lawyer Greg Kehoe spent a year in Iraq helping establish the nation's court system, training judges and coordinating the investigation that culminated with former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein's death sentence Sunday.

A veteran of similar inquiries in Yugoslavia, the scale of people killed during Saddam's reign astounded him.

"Anything that was in Yugoslavia was child's play compared to Iraq," Kehoe recounted Monday.

Isn't this enough on it's own to take Saddam out? Hell, Clinton sent our soldiers to the Balkans on lies about genocide that never produced dead bodies

Actually, Genocide was being committed in the Balkans. However, the problem I had was how come the Europeans couldn't fix the problem themselves? It was in their own backyard...

The bodies were everywhere. The bodies were EVERYWHERE. I was used to doing exhumations where we took soldiers out of the ground.
I wasn't used to doing exhumations where we took women and children and little babies as young as 6 months of age that had been executed with a .22-caliber round to the back of the head. That's a whole different type of crime to me.

Can't hang him soon enough for me.

A good essay and about stuff that most people have already forgotten ever happened. I wonder if in a few decades we'll have Iraq genocide deniers like we have Jewish Holocaust deniers today.

A few decades? How many dems have told us that Iraq was better off under Saddam?

I wrote to a pastor in Michigan a couple of years ago and sent him the following pictures because he was going on several TV interviews saying how bad we were to go into Iraq because the war was killing so many innocent people.

When I sent him copies of the pictures of the mass graves they had found of Saddam' genocide of the people, the pastor wrote me back saying that I was making decisions based on emotion and not rational thought!

Take a look at these pictures and tell me if these were your family, relatives, and friends - if you wouldn't be glad President Bush went into Iraq!

President Bush may have gone in looking for WMD - But I truly believe God sent him in there to stop this atrocity of genocide!

Good point, and one that further depressed me.

When I sent him copies of the pictures of the mass graves they had found of Saddam' genocide of the people, the pastor wrote me back saying that I was making decisions based on emotion and not rational thought!

And the pastor's rationale was that it was OK for Saddam to kill millions of innocents, but not OK for anyone else to unintentionally kill anyone in the attempt to stop him?
Then Jesus will turn to those on His left hand and say, "Depart from me because I was hungry and you did not feed me, I was thirsty and you did not give me to drink, I was sick and you did not visit me." These will ask Him, "When did we see You hungry, or thirsty or sick and did not come to Your help?" And Jesus will answer them, "Whatever you neglected to do unto one of these least of these, you neglected to do unto Me!"

And he wasn't basing his conclusions on emotion instead of rational thought?
Sounds like rational thought is a little outside his realm of experience.
