Tonight I am very happy to be living in the reddest of the red states. I can count on my Republican senators and representaive to make life miserable for the 'Rats and to block or frustrate any part of the liberal agenda the 'Rats try to implement.

Bush is a lame duck? LOL! Just watch Kamrade Pelosi try to get anything done.

I, too, can celebrate the wins of my local Republicans. Shame on Americans, they really are as stupid as my husband has told me, countless times, that they are. I remain hopeful.

Most of all, though, I hope those Libertarians that went Dim enjoy the fruits of their votes, ie. higher taxes, another lost war, on and on, ad infinitum.

Ditto that! Can we say "Gridlock" for the next 2 Years at least?
Prez Bush wiil have no use for his dried out veto pen, because nothing will come out of the House and/or Senate.

I can see the Democrats pissing and moaning that the Republicans (recovering from a very bad bruised lip) are thwarting the will of the people and not cooperating!

It looks like I'm having good news locally. The leftist gal running for mayor of San Jose is getting trounced!!!!

McClintock also looks like he's doing well in the California Lt. Governor's race.

I am actually hoping for gridlock because of this. There has to be a silver lining somewhere.

Do you REALLY think the repubs will gain a set now? The generally rolled over when they were in the majority, what makes you expect anything more now?

I believe that a big part of many Repub losses today are related to the lack of guts demonstrated by many so-called Republicans.

Folks- it's time to "dispose" of your firearms before Pelozi/Clinton's Gestapo come to confisgate them along with a LOT more taxes.

Tomorrow or even later today we will begin with the "It was for the best" posts and articles.

I will begin.

This was for the best. Would have been better to have been a close-call wake up scare, but there are few out there who are true conservatives who don't think that the movement has lost its way a bit.

If the opposition weren't such looney wackos, it might be somewhat less scary, but better a mid-term wake-up and time reassess and refocus on core values than a Presidential landslide where the whole of Congress and White House are lost in a Machtergreifung of catastrophic proportions.

At least this way, the spending might come under control and gridlock ensues.

Of course, I am not really affected by the immigration issue, so that one is a pretty big bummer.
