EVERY GOPer gets raked over the mud by the MSM. That's a given. THus, GOPers must run near flawless campaigns or have balls made of steel (Bush). Allen did not and has not.

Really shows how misplaced Freeper faith can be - he was the preferred Freeper choice for 2008 for a stint.
Hell, it sure took them long enough to manufacture those votes in St Louis and K.C. I can't help but feel that my white, middle-class vote just doesn't count for much anymore...

I don't believe that the absentee ballots get counted until after everything else is counted...and only then if the number of absentees exceeds the winning margin. In this case I'm sure they'll be counted...hell they may determine the race.
I think I agree with you about the Senate. We just couldn't pull it out in the last few minutes.
Any ideas as to what did us in, given what appeared to be pretty good turn out? Of course...we'll be spending weeks discussing that, but what is your gut instinct right off the race?

The areas in VA that are reporting heavily Webb have a reputation for corruption. I don't trust the data, esp. given the fact that these precincts are reporting last. If you have only 2000 votes in your precinct, why would it take you 4 hours to count??? Oh, wait, this is the result of their educational system.
Can't help but wonder about the spin all month that Karl Rove supposedly was perfectly calm and confident yadda yadda and knows something we don't etc.
My prediction is that white votes will never again count. The "comprehensive" border control is in our future. We are just about to become the minority. But not to worry, the whole world is going brown.
I agree, this will prove to the MSM that they can swing an election anytime they want. The hit pieces by the post and the NY slimes will just get worse for 2008, and of course CNN will continue to show video clips of terrorist propaganda and specials like "broken government" everyday.
It looks like Talent is toast. :(
