(LifeSiteNews.com) - A study in the current issue of the journal Fertility and Sterility, the official journal of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, boasts that artificial fertility techniques have become more effective over the years. The author of the study, Dr. James P. Toner, of the Atlanta Center for Reproductive Medicine in Woodstock, Georgia, writes that the rate of births per IVF attempt at pregnancy has increased from 10% to 30% from 1985 to 1999.
However, a look at the government statistics Toner used in his analysis reveal that approximately 170,000 human embryos created in 1999 (when the practice became more effective according to Toner's analysis) died in the process of attempting to conceive a child via in vitro fertilization.
The statistics from the Centers for Disease Control indicate that in 1999, some 21,501 children were born using assisted reproductive techniques (ART). In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) accounts for 73.5% of the ART methods. In order to achieve the 21,501 births, 86,822 ART cycles were reported wherein on average 3 embryos are transferred per cycle.

Yes, it is. My father was born out of wedlock in 1897 and I don't think he ever got over it. My grandmother didn't. I think she carried that with her to her grave. My husband was also born out of wedlock and he is only now talking about it openly and he's 71! He KNOWS God had a plan for him while he was in the womb. It's not that God wanted you to be born out of wedlock but he made something of you in spite of that. It certainly wasn't YOUR fault and God has nurtured you all these years when your mother wouldn't, or couldn't. How sad for HER. I hope you can forgive her, for your sake. Love, Maryxxx

Coulter and other conservative spokespersons have done a great job of educating the public. Which is why the Democrats had to pick candidates they would have shunned in the past.
Rabidly pro-abortion Chuck Schumer was forced to hold his nose as he and other Dems hand-picked Casey (PA) and Webb. (VA), who ran as pro-lifers.
Blue-Dog democrats = Wolves in sheep's clothing.
Betsy, the Dark Side cannot be parlayed with as there is no legitimate basis for compromise. Their aims are simply not compatible with ours. Bush "reached across the aisle" so many times his appendages are bloody nubs. If the GOP had more dedicated warriors like Coulter and less make-nice mealy-mouthers, we wouldn't be in this predicament.

Sorry I do not agree with that. I think she was used by the press to make up look like radicals who spum hate. Which you and I know it is not true. She made us look like hard core conservatives with no compassion . This is not true and we know it. Don't worry they will keep her out there because she reeks no feeling at all.

I disagree they had the press and a better ground war. I saw what they did in Pa. the reps had opld street lists and old call lists. The reps in Pa gave up before the polls even opened. Election day is being decided by the press and their polls days before people vote. Fire Melman and bring back Gillespie. He won it for us. Bring back mark Roscoe he won it for us. Fire Melman shut down Coulter till the elections are overlike they shut down pelosi , and maybe in 08 we can work to get back what we lost, or at least some of it.
Your ideas, in this post, sound generally good.
