I think God has allowed this night to happen. It is not the end....there is a purpose in all of this and we need to be open to receive the message. If the GOP is to be the party of light and inspiration we need a good soul searching and refocusing on the principles for which it is to be built upon. We need GOP leaders with spines and convictions...ready to fight and do what is right for the nation. Too many phoney leaders posing as conservatives. Not all but a lot were. Lets go foward with confidence to rebuild.

I don't know the reference offhand, but there is a scripture in Romans that basically says no one is given authority unless God gives it to them. That was even true for Clinton. And, it's still true now. Yes, looking through human eyes, this looks like the darkest moment in America's history. And, yes, it looks like the scariest moment that America has ever faced. But, yes, there is a reason for it, somehow. And, personally, I wonder if the reason is to let people get a glimpse of how bad tings will be, BUT to have President Bush guarding us through these next two years, so that it doesn't get untolerably bad. But, after the two years are up, when it's time for Presidential elections, conservatives do a clean sweep, because people have gotten a glimpse of what would happen if conservatives are not in power.
