Live in denial.

The results of the election that happened NOW, yes NOW, are CRYSTAL CLEAR. It's people like YOU, that NEVER LEARN and keep REPEATING the SAME, not different, the SAME mistakes over and over and over again. You refuse to GET IT! I and other constituents are NOT REPOSOBILE for the STUPIDITY of GWB - GWB is responsible for his STUPID actions and LACK of ACTION.

"DEMOCRATS did that. They didn't like their defeat from the last two elections and they got energized and organized."

Absolutely! They LEARNED. The GOP sat on their laurels and royally messed up with George at the helm.

"The only way you can say 'George did that', is by blaming him for winning the Presidency the 2 years ago and 6 years ago."

WHY are you so dense? WHY? WHY are you stuck on living in the PAST? As you stated that was FOUR YEARS AGO. THAT was TWO years AGO. Do you know what the word PAST means? The PAST didn't help the GOP for THIS ELECTION. If it did, then you EXPLAIN how that happened.

"So rather than shooting down our best banner carrier for the last six years, get motivated and organized and win the day back in 2008."

GWB our BEST banner? LOL! He's a neocon on a zigzag route. He depends on his fathers old cronies for guidance because he LACKS it. Most likely the GOP will run McCain for President and back the hell out of him. The GOP will think they need to lean MORE to the LEFT to win the vote. The GOP LACKS BACKBONE. They don't know how to MARKET their ideology so they lose the power and give in making it hard to distinguish a Demoncrat from a Republican. The GOP doesn't EDUCATE the base and beyond on WHY their ideology is SUPERIOR to Demoncrat tax and spend and redistribution and hatred of capitalism.

"It's not up to the 'Roves' and the 'Bushes' of this world. It's up to US."

NO. It's up to who we vote for to bring the message home. GWB is the President. It is up to GWB to keep his party going in the RIGHT direction and make policy accordingly.

"WE LET BUSH DOWN, not the other way around."

BULL! His ridiculous "guest worker" program will probably pass since the Demoncrats LOVE ILLEGALS. It is BUSH that let his constituents down through ridiculous policies such as this. Another outrage is constantly putting homosexuals in positions of authority. THAT is offensive beyond words. I regret that helped Bush get elected both times. It is BUSH that is responsible for his FAILED track record. Talk about BIGGER GOVERNEMNT - GWB is famous for enlarging THAT too.

"Now get out there and make a difference instead of shooting at your own side. If you don't like the Media bias, as we all don't, work on changing it. There are Democratic cheerleaders in all the major anchor positions."

It's time for a serious postmortem and STOP REPEATING THE MISTAKES that the GOP, at large, loves to make. It's up to the GOP to fight back the media. SILENCE doesn't do it. GWB has NO ONE to BLAME but HIMSELF and the failures of the landslide victory of the Demoncrats. So many times, I'd sit there watching his State of the Union Address and getting frustrated when he COULD clarify the media LIES but didn't.

One of the FEW strokes of genius was moving the war on terror to Iraq rather than on OUR SOIL. Gather them there and keep them busy - THERE. He could have made comments on that but NO, as usual he was quiet. The GOP simply doesn't know how to MARKET their solutions, ideas or ideology. It's PATHETIC.
GWB is a horrible communicator and a horrible leader. Hopefully the latest cronie from his Dad's era, Gates will help bolster him.

That a lot of name calling all rolled up into one rant. I reported your post.

It is inappropriate to call Bush a 'neocon'. He is not. Furthermore, this is a defamatory term used by libs.

It is inappropriate to call Bush 'stupid'. He clearly is not.

It is inappropriate to denigrate other Republicans as 'cronies'. Who do you expect him to appoint - Progressives? People without experience?

I completely disagree with your assessment of GWB as a "horrible communicator and a horrible leader". He has done a magnificent job through very difficult times.

You regret helping to elect Bush? Why? You would much rather have had Al. Gore or John Kerry as President? Your taxes raised rather than lowered? An immediate surrender to the islamists rather than 6 years of fighting them? Bill Clinton and friends on the U.S. Supreme Court and in all the lower courts?

I certainly don't think that the GOP 'sat on its laurels' for this election. I saw a lot of hard working people putting in a lot of extremely good effort. One of the stars of the campaign was George Bush. He was out there every day pushing our position. He did a great job of explaining it too.
