Extremely dubious leap of logic there. I think we know what you think about Ann Coulter now though. Got your tin-foil hat at the ready?
I think we might be better off being in the minority than being dependent on Chafee in a 50-50 Senate.
Sorry you feel so hopeless. I don't. I trust in God and yes my fellow citizens, because I happen to have been graced with the pleasure of knowing many fine Americans (including many here on FR). I trust in them and God who blesses this country, even when we don't deserve it. Every single day I thank Him for his blessings, even on a day like today.
Giving in to depression and hopelessness is not a solution. Activism is a solution. There is so much to be done, you need to move beyond this and into a positive place.
Well, antceecee, unlike you, I served in Vietnam, and I remember the duly-elected Democrats betraying my service by pulling the plug on Vietnam. And I remember who put those Democrats in charge--and who put today's Democrats in charge to pull the plug on Iraq. And that's the American voter.
"Ann, you helped bring this about--..."
Huh? Cranial-anal transposition problem.
I'm reading Ann's history here and now I'm positive about this. Folks, this was expected. I didn't know all these seats changed hands throughout mid-term history. I just assumed the Rats always won Congressional races.
You and many others served in Vietnam, including my best friends, boyfriends and step-father. You talk like you want to eliminate all American voters!
I think you need to calm down, get some rest and work for a brighter future. What are you planning to do to educate young future voters?
Every single one of us has that opportunity in our lives. Start with our own children. Their friends. The kids we have in our Girl Scout Troops and Boy Scout Troops. The kids we talk to in our neighborhoods.
You can communicate your conservative values and teach others.
I teach (yes and preach) to all my family and friends. I am no more obnoxious than the most liberal people I know, but I do get in my point of view.
That is where we can make a difference.
Quit fighting Vietnam, that's what the Dems keep doing.
Move on and grow.
what in hell are you talking about
Ann Coulter has more balls than any
man in Washington except Hillary Clinton.
This article was the 1st time I've laughed since the polls closed yesterday. I needed it, especially after the Rumsfeld announcement.
I remember you being less than fond of Annie. That's OK. There are some ostensibly on our side that I can't stand. But blaming her for this is silly. Yes, she skewers the GOP, deservedly so at times, as most of us here do. But I will bet you dollars to donuts that her biggest fans on this site bya nd large voted straight pubbie, like they always do.
Based on some posts I've been reading, I don't believe that.
No, my family will refuse to serve in this fickle nation' wars. You need jihadists dealt with? Do it yourself, sweetie, 'cuz we ain't.
I do want to expose the fraud. It might not have made a difference in the overall outcome this time, but it certainly does in individual races. This shit needs to be stomped out and now is the time.
Much better than the sky is falling. We took it on the chin, but dammit if I'm not going to swing harder now!
Good on ya' mate!!!!
My guess is the smart people in their party will keep nancy in a box.
whoops.. forgot the sarcasm tag....
If only Ann had shut up, found a nice man, stayed home and had a bunch of babies, the Republicans might have won.
BINGO!
I have yet to hear anyone put it so well!
Kuuudos!
