"WHY arent we insisting on sharing committee Chairmanships and and equal number of Majority/minority members like the Donks did in 2002"
You mean that Great Deal Trent Lott did with Tiny Tom Daschle?
BTW, Trent Lott is trying to make a comeback in the Senate as Whip.
Dontcha just love that brilliant idea?

Good post!
I agree that Allen should tough this out until the very end.

I understand who Webb is, I know a couple people who know or knew him personally and talked about him with each of them. He is not a proto-Nazi or whatever you are suggesting, he is somewhat conservative, but obviously willing to jettison those principles to get elected.
As far as "stealing", the counting and auditing should continue, but if the system is that broken it won't get fixed by contesting elections.

How many bogus people voted from those ACORN frauds?Hey, it's no problem. Let's move on. Doncha know it's the other faction of this corrupt cartel. It wouldn't be F-A-I-R. We are doomed because there are NO people in the other faction that will stand tall. I have stated here since being on FR for many yrs - keep voting in this fraud cartel & get these results. A few more votes in the Libertarian party & more in say the Constitution party will perk the ears on the drones in CONgress.

This is similar to what I said earlier today. America is the biggest and the best. Yes, we're going to come accross strong, but that doesn't make us bullies. I hate not standing up for our core beliefs and caving in all the time!
Thank goodness someone mentioned the absentee ballots that we can't even START counting until tomorrow! With the canvassing AND absentee ballots, 7500 is not such a big number.

If Allen is still around over a month from now, has over 100 different attornies on the case, is asking that all chads with the slightest dimple be counted, and refusing to allow counties where Democrat votes might have been lost to be counted, we'll let Allen hear from us.
Twenty hours after the polls close is a bit quick to close him down, if he's inclined ot make sure what the deal is.

Dick Cheney doesn't have to show up and be the tie-breaking vote everyday. Why kick a Republican who is taking a stand (for a change)?

I'm with you 100%. The Washington Post spent the past 6 months publishing attack ads against Allen disguised as news and editorials. I'm no big fan of Allen but I am even less of a fan of those wont to run for the hills at the first sign of confrontation.
BTW, where is that McCain guy when you need him anyways?

Wonder who at the WH is putting pressure on as I didn't see GW throwing in the towel in FL the next morning! Why should GW have thrown in the towel in 2000? He was ahead.

Mehlman ought to be out there doing penance "Japanese style" this evening.

No, I don't think the counting and auditing has finished and I didn't suggest Allen should step aside until it is.
