Sorry, the RINOs in Congress have only themselves to blame.

It was the voters who determined the outcome of this election. You are implying that because the RINO's in Congress didn't give us everything we wanted, some Republicans chose to either not vote, or vote for the Democrats. It all comes down to the brass tacks. Republicans who jumped ship and decided to hand it over to the Dems to teach the RINO's a lesson, are now swimming with the sharks. The Dems, the Liberals, and the terrorists. Yep, the next terrorist attack will sure teach us a lesson won't it? An increase in attacks on our troops and innocent Iraqis now that they've been emboldened by a Democratic win will sure teach us a lesson.

In my opinion, the WOT, the war in Iraq (which is a part of the WOT), and our Homeland Security was the most important issue we face as a nation today. We all know how the Dems feel about the WOT and Homeland Security (Patriot Act, anyone?). They don't give a RAT'S arse about it.

None of the other issues on the table will mean a damn thing if we lose the WOT. I know that Liberals/Dems don't understand that, but every Republican that I know personally sure does.

I agree that Rumsfeld should not have resigned the day after the election, but I seriously doubt that an earlier resignation would have done anything different politically.

Personally, I'm going to miss him.

Nope but its time voters do and if they dont then they get the govt they deserve. They have no choice to pull out of iraq or they suffer huge in 2008

To say nothing of the endless bashing of Halliburton. The endless blaming of this President for the failure of the Governor of Louisiana and the Mayor of New Orleans for the unnecessary deaths there. The false outrage of the media over the faux Plame leak.

Didn't matter what was happening in the world, it was all Bush's fault, wasn't it......

Have you run this by Hillary?

On the news this evening they said there were still votes out, and if Allen was within 1/2 percent there would automatically be a recount. Allen is in 1/6 per cent, so I would think that would be an automatic recount.

Chuck Schumer was making some inane comments and ended up saying that they (Conrad Burns and Allen) should be gentlemen and concede! Can you believe that bunch of hypocrites? Look how Al Gore conceded, then withdraw it, and challenged the election, and the Demonrats thought we should give the election to them because of who they were!

I just checked the Virginia Elections web site. There are still 135 precincts not reported and Allen is just 7316 behind. Have all the military ballots been counted yet?
Not so fast AP...in the words of your heart-throb Al Gore...Count all the Votes!

Everybody who's been in the military, or held a federal job, or worked in a state or municipal government has their fingerprints on file.

So why should other people be so darned special that they don't need to show us their prints?

I came up with that opinion last night after the election. I normally don't listen to Rush, but did today to get his take on the situation and it happened to match mine. I like it when others happen to agree with me, especially when they've got access to far more people than I do, LOL. ;)

Like the tag line, no more blaming Bush,

Democrates are going to have to face terrorism issues as the Majority, and when that reality has to be acted on,

the anti-war that supported Democrates will be disappointed, I pray...
