OK. I thought I had read that VA was an electronic voting state. I stand corrected. Are paper ballots standard in VA?
It varies by county/city. In Henrico County I voted with a touch-screen machine; a co-worker of mine who lives south of the James down in Chesterfield County voted with an optical scan paper ballot.
