We can always re-nominate Harriet Miers. Minority democratic leader Ried and the democrats were very supportive of her nomination.

The biggest disappointment from this. Everything else will be gidlocked, but the judges are not going to be originalists....that is for sure. We will have moderate judgest at best. I think that the judges might not step down now for a while.
