Don't forget we still got 49 Senators. Even subtracting the Rhinos that is 42. Only need 40 to Fillibuster. Out of those 24 seats we lost, 10 of them ran as good old boy "Conservative" Democrats. Let see how well Nancy does brow beating them and the other 30 or so Conservative Dems into submission.

Either she doesn't and we can block stuff or she does not and they get to go home in 2008 and explain why they ran as a Ronald Reagan clone down home and acted like John Kerry in DC.

We still got power even if the Dems seem to have forgotten that.

You're assuming the republicans have the balls to filibuster. They don't. Only dems can filibuster without any consequences. Republicans would be pilloried the media as "obstructionists", and this bunch doesn't have the balls to stand up to the media.

"Running as" and "voting as" are two entirely different things. Watch how fast those 'old boy blue dog conservative democrats' get sworn in, find out how the ancient system works from Harry Reid and run screaming towards the far left.

What power do the Repubs have? Not talk radio.. Most Repubs have proven that they are more afraid of media than the voters. Dems have MSM where majority of people get thier news. Will the Repubs go back to thier roots and be conservative? If they try to block, MSM will be all over them. Dems are very good at manipulating the media and know that the media is part of the their organization and will help them.
